About this scholarship

Incoming or current undergraduate or graduate students at a New Jersey college or university with an intellectual, severe physical, or psychiatric disability and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 may apply.

One recipient receives $10,000 total, paid in two parts of $5,000 for fall and spring tuition directly to the student's school.

Submit proof of disability, transcripts, two letters of recommendation, a resume or CV, a 600 to 800 word essay on facing a challenge or setback, and a completed media release form with your photo. All materials should be in PDF format.

The fund is named in memory of John (Jack) Joseph Scura II, founding partner of the firm and a strong advocate for education.
