Jack Katnick Memorial Award in Architecture

Open to outstanding third-year undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Design in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urbanism program at UBC Vancouver. Financial need may be considered.

Award amounts vary. Funding comes from an endowment established by the estate of Jack Katnick (1936–2006).

There is no separate student application. Awards are made on the recommendation of the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.

Jack Katnick (B.Arch. 1960), the son of an immigrant and the first in his family to attend university, had a career in residential architecture and community building.
