J.C. Cote Scholarship

Arkansas residents or students at accredited Arkansas colleges who are SHRM student-chapter or national members and committed to human resources careers may apply. Undergraduates must have junior standing or higher at the start of the fall semester, an HR major, emphasis, or concentration (or a related business major with at least six non-introductory HR credit hours), and a minimum 3.0 GPA in the major. Graduate students need a minimum 3.5 GPA in an acceptable degree program. Students without a local chapter must be willing to join SHRM as at-large members if selected.

One $1,000 award is given each year. Submit an application, transcripts, and materials requested by the selection committee.

The award honors J.C. Cote, a dedicated Arkansas SHRM leader and volunteer.
