About this scholarship
Illinois high school seniors who are college-bound with a minimum GPA of 2.5 may apply. You must be an Illinois resident attending an Illinois high school and able to provide enrollment documentation.
One $500 scholarship is awarded to a college-bound senior. The recipient is recognized at IWEA's annual conference. A reimbursement grant of up to $250 is also available for the recommending teacher.
Submit a complete application packet through the online form, including an essay or personal statement, a reference letter, and transcripts in PDF format. Official transcripts are not required.
