About this scholarship
New England residents who are diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, heart-transplant recipients, or close family members of someone with CHD may apply if they are a high school senior or enrolled college student with at least a 2.5 GPA accepted at an accredited U.S. college or technical school. Prior recipients within two years are ineligible.
Up to four scholarships of $2,000 are awarded.
Mail an application with one recommendation letter and a one- to two-page essay on how CHD has affected your life and how you promote CHD awareness. Include a transcript.
It's My Heart New England supports students affected by congenital heart defects while raising CHD awareness.
