Italian Studies Undergraduate and MA Essay Awards

Undergraduate or MA students enrolled at any Canadian college or university, or recent BA or MA graduates within 12 months of their degree, may submit an essay on any Italian Studies subject for the University of Toronto Italian Studies Annual Essay Prizes.

Two prizes of CA$500 are awarded each year, one for the best undergraduate essay and one for the best MA essay. Essays may be in English, French, or Italian, up to 7,500 words (including footnotes, excluding bibliography), and must be submitted anonymously by email with a cover letter, CV, and transcripts.

The prizes aim to foster study and research in Italian Studies and to connect strong students from other institutions with U of T's Italian Studies community.
