About this scholarship
Active full-time undergraduate students at the sophomore level or above who are pursuing a cybersecurity career at an accredited U.S. college or university may apply for the ISSA Education Foundation Howard A. Schmidt Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship.
One award of $3,500 is given.
Apply between February 1 and June 15. Submit a personal statement, resume, unofficial transcripts, and letters of recommendation. Selection weighs academic excellence, work experience, community service, and extracurricular activities related to information security.
The scholarship honors Howard A. Schmidt and supports undergraduates entering the cybersecurity field.
