About this scholarship

High school seniors graduating from any Indiana high school with a minimum 3.5 GPA who demonstrate active community involvement (such as community service, youth groups, academics, sports, or religious activities) and good citizenship may apply for the ISNA Indiana High School Graduate Scholarship. The award is open to any field of study.

Four $2,000 scholarships are awarded annually.

Submit academic records, details of extracurricular and community involvement, two recommendation letters (one from a high school faculty member or administrator and one from a community leader), and a Statement of Intent describing plans to benefit the community and society. Apply through ISNA’s AwardSpring portal.

The scholarship grew out of early educational efforts by Muslim women in the MSA and ISNA community in Plainfield, Indiana, in the early 1980s.
