About this scholarship
For an outstanding second- or third-year domestic J.D. student at UBC's Peter A. Allard School of Law who has achieved academic excellence and demonstrated an interest in corporate or commercial law through academic pursuits and volunteer involvement.
A $10,000 award made available through an endowment established by the Stewart Family and Fraser Litigation Group in memory of Irene M. Stewart (1948-2020). This academic award is made on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law.

Irene (B.A., LL.B. 1971) was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1972 and practiced for forty-eight years as a corporate and real estate lawyer. She was a partner at Russell DuMoulin and Gowling WLG LLP before joining Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP.
