About this scholarship

Law students enrolled in or accepted to an ABA-accredited U.S. law school (full-time, part-time, evening, or LL.M.) with a Northern California connection through employment, law school, or substantial prior residency. Applicants must be pursuing a summer internship, externship, or clerkship in public interest at a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, government agency, or judicial office. Remote public-interest positions are eligible. Applicants must not already be receiving full educational funding elsewhere.

One $5,000 award.

Submit the IABA application form, a one-page resume, unofficial transcripts, and a written statement of no more than two pages.
