Iowa Funeral Directors Association Scholarships

Legal Iowa residents enrolled in an American Board of Funeral Service Education-accredited funeral service or mortuary science program who intend to practice in Iowa may apply for Iowa Funeral Directors Association scholarships. Applicants need at least 60 college credits and at least one term remaining after the award date.

Scholarships range from $500 to $1,000.

Submit a transcript, proof of residency, a recommendation, and a career-choice essay. Awards are based on scholastic ability, leadership, citizenship, and interest in mortuary science.
