About this scholarship

Second-, third-, and fourth-year students at UBC's Okanagan campus are eligible for these awards. Awards totalling $1,400 are granted, with preference given to students who have demonstrated academic achievement as well as assessed financial need; individual amounts vary. There is no separate application; recipients are selected by the university.

The awards were endowed by IODE Silver Star to commemorate more than 50 years of service and achievement.
