International Varsity Entrance Award Okanagan

Outstanding international student athletes entering undergraduate programs at UBC Okanagan may be considered for these renewable entrance awards. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional athletic achievement and promise, academic achievement and promise, and extracurricular and community involvement.

Awards may total up to the full cost of tuition and fees for up to five years. They are renewable for up to four years or until the first undergraduate degree is completed (whichever is shorter), provided the student maintains scholarship standing and international student status in Canada. Recipients must meet requirements of their athletic governing body and the Department of Athletics and Recreation. A committee of coaches, Heat Athletics staff, and International Student Initiative and recruitment directors reviews eligible candidates.
