International Undergraduate Student Research Award (iUSRA)

Paid full-time summer research positions for international undergraduate students in McMaster Engineering working with faculty supervisors in natural sciences and/or engineering. Recipients are McMaster employees for the award period and may present work at the Faculty's summer research poster showcase.

Requires international student status, registration in a bachelor's program in the Faculty of Engineering, a valid Canadian work permit, a cumulative average of at least B-, completion of at least first-year course requirements, and registration in at least one of the two terms immediately before holding the award. Stipend is $6,000 plus supervisor contribution. Application and selection typically run in January-February before the summer term.
