International Scientific Fellowships for Master, PhD & Medical Students

Outstanding master's, PhD, and medical students may apply for Bayer Foundation Scientific Fellowships to fund international research placements of up to six months. Students enrolled in Germany must study abroad; students outside Germany must host their project at a German institution.

Fellowships provide up to €10,000, including justified exceptional costs.

Apply through the Bayer Foundation digital portal. Bachelor students and postdoctoral researchers are not eligible.

The program supports talented young scientists who want to develop skills, gain new perspectives, and build international research relationships.
