About this scholarship
University of Toronto students participating in a university-sanctioned CIE Learning Abroad Exchange Program who demonstrate financial need may receive the International Experience (IE) Award toward roundtrip airfare and some living costs. It does not cover tuition or program fees. Amounts vary by destination and duration (about $625 to $10,000 CAD), with one award per student per experience and a $10,000 two-year cumulative cap. The award is not guaranteed.
Apply alongside the exchange application through the Learning Abroad portal; you cannot add the IE Award after submitting the exchange application.
