About this scholarship

For Simon Fraser University students attending an SFU travel-study or field school program. Preference goes to third- or fourth-year students who have completed two Global Humanities (Humanities) courses. Applicants must be in good standing with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and registered in at least 9 units of graded courses in the summer term or in either of the previous two terms.

One award of $1,500 toward travel-study or field school costs, granted annually in the spring or summer term. Apply by email to the Director, Institute for the Humanities, by March 15 with a résumé, transcript, a statement on how the program fits your academic goals, and two SFU faculty reference letters sent directly by the referees.
