Indigenous Graduate Scholarship

Self-identified Indigenous students who are entering or recently started a Dalhousie master's or doctoral program (professional, course-based, or thesis-based) may apply for a graduate scholarship of up to $15,000 per year for a maximum of two years of full-time study. The award aims to increase representation of Mi'kmaq and Indigenous scholars across Dalhousie's graduate programs.

Applicants must plan to begin between May and the following January, or have started no earlier than the previous May (less than eight months in program as of December 31). Part-time students may hold the award at 50% value until the original amount is reached. Selection considers academic merit, community involvement, and potential impact of support.
