Illinois Medical Student Scholarship Program

Illinois residents enrolled in an Illinois allopathic or osteopathic medical school who commit to primary care (family practice, general internal medicine, general pediatrics, or obstetrics/gynecology) in Illinois physician-shortage areas may apply for the Illinois Medical Student Scholarship Program.

Assistance covers tuition, mandatory fees, and a $950 per month living stipend for 12 months per award year, with one year of service obligation per year of assistance. Applications are due May 15 via medical school financial aid offices.
