About this scholarship
Undergraduate engineering students entering junior or senior year at a four-year accredited U.S. university may apply. Applicants need at least 45 semester credits (or 90 quarter credits), a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, and a degree in an engineering or technical field applicable to industrial refrigeration. Junior-year support is $4,000; senior-year support is up to $9,000 for recipients who attend IIAR's Annual Natural Refrigeration Conference during junior year, or $4,000 without conference attendance.
Submit the application with official transcripts, two recommendations, and required materials by January 31. Conference attendance also qualifies recipients for additional travel, lodging, and registration funds during junior year. Scholarship funds apply to tuition only and are paid directly to the recipient's institution.
