About this scholarship
American Indian and Alaska Native members of federally recognized tribes enrolled in eligible health profession degree programs may apply through the Indian Health Service Scholarship Program.
The award covers tuition and a stipend for up to four years, in exchange for a minimum two-year service commitment at an Indian health facility after training. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required. Award amounts vary.
The IHS Health Professions Scholarship helps train health professionals who will serve American Indian and Alaska Native communities.
