About this scholarship
Illinois residents who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and are pursuing hospitality management degrees at accredited colleges or universities may apply for IHLA Educational Foundation scholarships.
Scholarship amounts vary, with awards beginning at $1,000 per academic year. One award is available in this cycle. Applications are accepted each spring for fall disbursement.
In addition to the application, submit a list of extracurricular activities from the past two years, a recent transcript, a recommendation letter from an education or industry professional, and a typed essay outlining your career goals in the hotel or hospitality industry.
