About this scholarship
Scholars pursuing the history of electrical science and technology (not current engineering practice) may apply for the IEEE Life Members' Fellowship in Electrical History for one year of full-time graduate work or up to one year of post-doctoral research at a college or university of recognized standing.
Pre-doctoral applicants must be in good standing in a Ph.D. program. Post-doctoral applicants must have received their Ph.D. within the past four years. The stipend is $25,000 for one award.
Submit an application, a 10 to 15 page research proposal, a transcript, and three recommendation letters by February 1.

- Eligibility: pre-doctoral applicants in good standing in a Ph.D.-granting program (full-time) OR post-doctoral applicants who received Ph.D. within the past four years
