About this scholarship

IDTA Freestyle and Street Scholarship nominees are selected by examiners after earning exceptional marks (90% or higher on Freestyle Solo medal tests at Star 1 or above, per bursary rules). Nominees attend a scholarship weekend for tuition and competition.

Winners receive trophies and prize money; amounts vary by category. The nomination window runs from March 1 through February 28 or 29 each year.
