About this scholarship
Dental students training to become dentists who are registered in an accredited or acceptable dental school, sponsored by a dental researcher with the dean's approval, and who are IADR members may be considered. Candidates must not have received their dental degree and must not be due to receive it in the year of the award. The fellowship rotates alphabetically among IADR Divisions; the Division selects the recipient and presents the candidate and research proposal to the IADR Board for approval.
The award is $2,500, typically used to support a dental research project (often framed as stipend, supplies, and meeting travel).
Selection is based on the submitted research experience proposal.
