Hy and Lee Schechter Scholarship

Students entering the final year of graduate studies in the Department of Health Care and Epidemiology at UBC may be considered if they combine academic excellence with contributions to the university and improvements in community health.

Scholarship amounts vary. The award is made on the recommendation of the School of Population and Public Health in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate application.

The scholarships were endowed in honour of Hy and Lee Schechter.
