SGEU Local 1107 members in good standing, and their spouses or dependants, may apply for this scholarship.
Two scholarships of $250 are available. Awards are based on a 500-word essay on "The Effects of Unions n Lifestyles" (topic as stated by the sponsor) and financial need. Apply with a letter of application, the essay, and a copy of grade 12 standing as of May 31, sent to the Local 1107 contact listed on the SGEU site.
