About this scholarship
Maryland residents enrolled full-time at eligible Maryland two- or four-year institutions may qualify for the Howard P. Rawlings Educational Assistance (EA) Grant, a need-based state award. High school seniors and undergraduates who demonstrate financial need are eligible.
Awards are up to $3,000 per year and renewable for up to four years. The minimum annual award is $400 when calculated need exceeds that threshold.
File the FAFSA or MHEC One-App by March 1, listing at least one Maryland college. Submit any additional documentation requested through your MDCAPS account.
