About this scholarship

Texas residents who are second-year law students at South Texas College of Law, Thurgood Marshall School of Law, or the University of Houston Law Center may apply for the Houston Bar Association Auxiliary Charitable Fund Scholarship. Selection weighs scholastic achievement, financial need, and community involvement.

The fund typically awards about $5,000 to one student at each participating law school, for up to three awards total. Recipients are invited to the annual scholarship luncheon.
