About this scholarship

Youth aged 24 and under in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania who are experiencing or have experienced homelessness during their school years and are entering higher education or career training for the first time may apply for the Hope Through Learning Award from the Homeless Children's Education Fund.

The $2,500 award may cover tuition, books, a computer, or living expenses such as transportation, child care, or housing.

Complete the online application by May 1, including documentation of eligibility and acceptance into a qualifying education or training program.
