About this scholarship
Students in their penultimate year at James Cardinal McGuigan Secondary School, C.W. Jefferys Secondary School, Emery Collegiate Institute, or Westview Centennial Secondary School in Toronto are eligible. Each school selects one recipient annually.
Four bursaries of $8,000 are available. Awards are renewable for an additional three years.
Recipients are guaranteed a summer job at the Toronto Star at the end of their first year.
