Herman J. Neal Accounting Scholarship

African American junior, senior, or graduate accounting students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled at an Illinois college or university may apply through the Illinois CPA Society. Applicants need a cumulative 3.0 GPA or equivalent and must plan to sit for the Illinois CPA exam within three years of applying.

Awards range from $1,000 to $4,000, with the number of recipients varying each year. One application is considered for multiple ICPAS scholarships.

The CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois supports diverse accounting students pursuing the CPA profession through programs funded by voluntary donations.
