About this scholarship
Undergraduate Society of Physics Students national members pursuing physics who demonstrate financial need, high scholarship in physics and overall studies, SPS participation, and intent to continue in physics may apply. Students completing a physics bachelor's in the spring or summer after the March 15 deadline are not eligible.
Up to two awards of $2,500 are made each year. The online application requires an official transcript, course outline, career and SPS statements, a one-page financial-need statement, department chair certification, and two faculty recommendation letters.
Margaret Sussman Levy established the scholarship in memory of Dr. Herbert Levy for a worthy physics student in need.
