About this scholarship
University of Northern British Columbia students commencing a full-time undergraduate course of study are eligible. You must have been a City of Prince George resident for at least five years immediately before attending UNBC. Selection considers academic proficiency and outstanding citizenship demonstrated through school, college, or community involvement. Demonstrated financial need may also be considered.
The bursary is worth $1,000. One award is available.
Apply through UNBC's online awards application, completing the Volunteer Activities, Community Involvement, and Financial Need sections, and have at least one referee submit a reference letter attesting to civic involvement.
A perpetual bursary established by the City of Prince George to commemorate the visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on August 17, 1994.
