Helmut and Donna Meisl Award in Social Work

For domestic fourth-year Bachelor of Social Work and domestic Master of Social Work students at UBC Vancouver with good academic standing and a placement in a health care setting.

Award amounts vary. Dr. Helmut Meisl (B.Sc. 1970, M.D. 1976) and Donna Meisl established the award after Helmut's work as an emergency doctor showed him how social workers could improve patient health outcomes.

The School of Social Work recommends recipients; graduate selections involve the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. No separate application.
