Helen and Allen Brown Scholarship

Racial-ethnic minority undergraduates who have been members of The United Methodist Church within the Nashville, Tennessee, or New Orleans districts for at least three years and have a minimum 3.0 GPA may be considered for the Helen and Allen Brown Scholarship through the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM).

The award is $1,000. The number of recipients varies.

Submit one GBHEM scholarship application per year to be screened for all eligible programs, and indicate preferred programs on the first page. Programs fall under General, Racial-Ethnic, and Ministry as a Career categories.
