Hec Gervais Academic & Curling Scholarship

Youth curlers who are members in good standing with Curling Alberta and eligible to compete in sanctioned U20 competitions in the upcoming season may apply for the Hec Gervais Academic & Curling Scholarship. High school and post-secondary students are encouraged to apply.

The Foundation awards up to three $3,000 scholarships, paid to a post-secondary institution (funds may be held if the recipient is not yet enrolled). Applicants must show above-average interest, skill, dedication, and sportsmanship in curling, be actively curling in Alberta or an outstanding member of the Alberta curling community, and be a valued contributing member of a curling club, school, and/or community. Apply online with a transcript and up to three references.

The foundation honours curling legend Hec Gervais and supports Alberta youth curling.
