About this scholarship

Students enrolled at an accredited Historically Black College or University who will launch a SODA chapter, host organ, eye, and tissue donation advocacy events, and partner with SODA National may apply for the HBCU Organ and Tissue Donation Advocacy Scholarship.

Three awards of $1,500 each are granted. Scholarship funds are sent directly to each winner's college or university. Applicants must not have previously received a SODA National scholarship.

Email sophia@sodanational.org for application instructions and submit all materials by the deadline. Recipients organize an advocacy event by the end of the fall semester and attend virtual networking and awards ceremonies. SODA National partners with Hearts for Russ on this program.
