About this scholarship

Full-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at a qualified U.S. institution with a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrated financial need may apply for the Harvesters Scholarship Foundation Scholarship. The award is aimed at students called to become missionaries upon graduation who subscribe to the Evangelical Christian faith.

Award amounts and the number of recipients vary.

Applicants must provide a Christian testimony or personal statement.

Harvesters Scholarship Foundation supports missionaries-in-training and aims to help Evangelical Christian students participate in professional and educational service as witnesses for their faith.

  • Official current-year transcript
  • Letter of acceptance for incoming freshmen
  • Three reference/recommendation letters, including at least one from a pastor or youth pastor
  • Financial information and academic budget
  • Parents' federal tax-return pages 1-2 when claimed as a dependent
  • Official school transcript for the current year (high school transcript + letter of acceptance for incoming freshmen)
  • Three (3) reference/recommendation letters, at least one from the applicant's pastor or youth pastor
  • Section VII - Missions Experience: on a separate page, a detailed list of short- and long-term missions (Date, Duration, Location, Tasks/Roles)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required; must be a full-time student at an accredited Bible college/seminary (US or Canada)
  • Financial information including academic budget; copies of pages 1-2 of parents' federal tax return if claimed as a dependent
  • Undergraduate or Master's program students only (no PhD or online programs)
  • Submit completed application package via email by May 31, 2026
  • Provide a Christian testimony or personal statement and detailed missions-experience list.
  • Programs may not be PhD or online programs.
