About this scholarship
Connecticut residents who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ), or who are from an LGBTQ household or family, and who have been accepted to an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for the coming academic year to complete an associate or bachelor’s degree, may apply for the Hartford Gay & Lesbian Health Collective Scholarship.
Two $500 awards are available.
Email a completed and signed application, a recent grade report or transcript, two reference letters from non-relatives (at least one academic or professional), and a typed essay of 500 words or less describing involvement with the LGBTQ+ community, career aspirations, and how you hope to help the LGBTQ+ community after graduation.
