Harriette Glasner Social Justice Scholarship

Local high school graduates who plan to enroll in a public or private college or trade school may apply for the Harriette Glasner Social Justice Scholarship. Priority goes to students who have demonstrated social justice involvement in their communities and can state a plan for future social justice work.

The award is $2,000. The number of recipients varies.

Complete the HGSJ Scholarship application, include an articulated educational plan, and secure a letter of recommendation from a teacher or community leader. Awards are typically announced in early May, and recipients are invited to a ceremony at the First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Palm Beaches.

The fund was established in 2014 by a donor from that congregation.
