About this scholarship

Promising and deserving students in Medicine at UBC Vancouver are eligible for these awards. Consideration is given to academic achievement as well as personal qualities and character. Awards totalling $26,000 are made.

There is no separate application. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine.

The awards were endowed through a bequest by Adelaide Ann Vaughan Bateman in memory of her parents.
