McMaster University students completing any Level 1 program who have achieved notable academic standing and demonstrated leadership and service to McMaster University and/or communities in Hamilton, surrounding areas, or abroad may apply.
Five awards of $1,500 each are available. A selection committee determines recipients.
The award was established in 1997 in memory of Gwen George by her family and friends.
