Gustave Blache III Art Scholarship

Aspiring artists from Louisiana who are high school seniors (undergraduate award) or beginning MFA study (graduate award) may apply for support toward School of Visual Arts (SVA) tuition in New York City. The scholarship may not be used at any other school and is contingent on acceptance into SVA illustration or fine arts programs (animation excluded).

Awards are $25,000 per year toward tuition for up to four years for the BFA or up to two years for the MFA. Upload a portfolio of 10 to 15 original art samples.

The scholarship is named for Louisiana artist and SVA alumnus Gustave Blache III and is offered through the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities.
