Gunther Abrahamson Caribou Research and Management Award

College or university students in Canada conducting research on barren-ground caribou and their habitat, or on caribou conservation and management, may apply. Traditional knowledge and scientific studies are both welcome.

One $5,000 award is granted biennially through ACUNS, funded by the Beverly and Qamanirjuaq Caribou Management Board. Apply via the ACUNS online application site. Priority may go to residents of communities on the Beverly or Qamanirjuaq herd ranges and students furthering natural resources education related to caribou.
