About this scholarship

For McMaster graduate students travelling in the May to August window to present at conferences or undertake research relevant to their field. Awards are up to $500 each from the GSA Development Fund, administered through the School of Graduate Studies.

A fluctuating number of awards is available each semester. Recipients are drawn randomly, with at least one from each faculty, then remaining awards from the full applicant pool. Recipients may be asked for a voluntary 250-word statement on how the travel contributed to their graduate experience. Apply through AwardSpring.
