About this scholarship
College students in the St. Louis area majoring in art may apply for Greater St. Louis Artists merit scholarships, including the Vic Barr Memorial Scholarship.
Four one-time awards of $5,000 each are granted annually. Winners showcase their work at the Queeny Art Fair.
Submit an application, faculty reference letter, artist statement, and a digital portfolio (PDF, PowerPoint, or Google Slides) by the deadline. GSLA supports talented art students and honors longtime board member Vic Barr through one of the four annual awards.
