About this scholarship
High school seniors accepted into a performing arts college or university program may apply for the Great Khalid Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship. Applicants need a minimum 3.5 GPA, an official transcript, proof of acceptance, an essay on their passion and goals in the performing arts, and a video performance submitted via YouTube.
Three recipients each receive $10,000 applied to tuition for the upcoming academic year. Funds are sent directly to the student's college or university.
The Great Khalid Foundation recognizes students for academic achievement and artistic ability in the performing arts.

- Essay responding to the stated performing-arts questions (500–1,000 words)
- 3–5 minute YouTube performance-video link
- Parental/guardian consent form
- High school transcript demonstrating a 3.5 GPA or higher
- Acceptance into a Performing Arts College or University Program (attach acceptance letter / letter of verification)
- Video Submission: a 3–5 minute performance video uploaded to YouTube with link provided
- Must be a 2024 high school senior within the United States
- Parental/guardian consent form (permission to post video, use photos/video on Foundation website and social media)
- Award is $10,000 applied toward tuition, transferred directly to the institution
- Award is applied to tuition and sent directly to the recipient's institution.
