About this scholarship
Full-time or part-time University of Waterloo graduate students in a research-based program who are completing a thesis or Master's Research Paper may apply when presenting their own research (oral, poster, or paper) at an academic conference.
Award amounts vary by conference type (virtual or in-person). Students may receive the award once per fiscal year (May to April). Number of awards varies with available budget.
Apply during the published application period for the term of the conference end-date, with a lay research summary, expected outcomes, and a signed supervisor verification form. If applications exceed funding, recipients are selected at random.
