About this scholarship
Outstanding graduate students in UBC's Department of History whose research focuses on Sikh and Punjabi studies may be considered.
Annual awards funded through a gift from Kamal Parmar are available.
Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the Department of History, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
Kamal Parmar established the award in the spirit of Gur Seva, the Sikh principle of selfless service to the Guru.
